Admission Procedure

  • Prospectus and application for various courses may be obtained from the admission office of Paavai Educational Institutions
  • All the applications duly filled in should be sent by registered post to the admission office before the stipulated date. Applications can also be directly submitted to the admission office
  • Duly filled downloaded application from the website can be sent along with DD for Rs. 350 by registered post to the Director Admissions

  • Admissions are made to this college on the clear understanding that those who are admitted will fully accept and abide by the rules and regulations in force and those which may be enforced or modified as and when required. Any dispute that may arise would be subject to Namakkal jurisdiction only
  • All admissions will be done according to the guidelines of the Government of Tamil Nadu and the Hon. Supreme court

Eligibility Criteria

1. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years completed on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. The maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years.

2. Minimum Educational Qualification

  • a. Candidate with Science who have passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually.
  • b. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Science subjects and English only.
  • c. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing).

3. Colour blind candidates are eligible provided that colour corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.

4. Student shall be medically fit.

5. Students shall be admitted once in a year.

6. Selection of candidates should be based on the merit of the entrance examination. Entrance test** shall comprise of:

  • Aptitude for Nursing 20 marks
  • Physics 20 marks
  • Chemistry 20 marks
  • Biology 20 marks
  • English 20 marks
Minimum qualifying marks for entrance test shall be 50% marks.
**Entrance test shall be conducted by University/State Government.
Duration of the Course
  • B.Sc Nursing : Four academic years (Semester)
