Principal’s Profile

Dr. A. Hepsi Rachel Chellarani has joined Paavai College of Nursing as a Principal when the College bloomed for B. Sc. Nursing degree course in the year 2016. She is an alumni of College of Nursing, CMC Vellore and has 35 years of rich experience in all the fields of Nursing including Nursing Practice, Nursing Education, Nursing Management and Nursing Research. Has served for a decade in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and won several awards as “The Best Lecturer” in the Inservice Training Programs for more than 4 years as well as in CPR Training Programme. Has been a “Provider and Instructor” in BLS – CPR Course. Has held several positions in Nursing and was a member of various committees such as Medical Education and Research Committee, Quality Assurance, Infection Control and a member of local recruitment board. A Passionate, Creative and Committed Leader with good teaching skills, ever willing to work to the spirit of challenge and innovation with high ethical and professional standards. Has published articles in many International and National Journals, Presented papers and has been a resource person in many Conferences, (State & National levels) and workshops. Strives hard to elevate the standards of the Nursing Profession and to improve the quality of Nursing Education and Practice.
