An Alumni Meet was organized on 8th August 2026 at Kalam’s Chamber, Paavai Institutions, with the objective of providing an opportunity for alumni and students to interact, share experiences, and gain valuable insights into professional nursing careers.
The programme was presided over by Dr. Hepsi Rachel Chellarani, Principal, Paavai College of Nursing & Research. Ms. Thirumadha, Alumni, delivered an informative lecture on “Career Opportunities for Nurses Globally.” She highlighted the various career pathways available to nurses at both the national and international levels and encouraged students to continuously enhance their professional knowledge, skills, and competencies.
Following this, Mr. Prasanna, Alumni, delivered an insightful lecture on “Challenges Faced by Men in the Nursing Fraternity.” He discussed the professional challenges encountered by male nurses and emphasized the importance of confidence, dedication, professional competence, and commitment to the nursing profession.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Principal, resource persons, alumni, faculty members, and students for their valuable contributions towards making the event meaningful and successful.
